Miki's Tavern and Fish Restaurant - Cypriot cooking and hospitality at its best. Situated in the heart of Polis, there can be no better place to watch the world go by, whether having a coffee, a glass or two of beer or wine, or a delicious snack or meal from the menu. Do check the “Specials’ Board” for something a little out of the ordinary.

Viewed from the outside, Miki’s looks very ordinary. Miki has run this successful tavern for the best part of a quarter of a century, and sees no need to change. It is his proud assertion that, despite all the economic woes suffered by Cyprus, and the inflation and price rises that seem to be neverending, his prices have not risen for the last six years.

As might be expected, fish is a specialty of the house and Miki’s fish meze of 18 courses for €12.80 is something to experience. Fresh fish, caught locally, appears on the “Specials’ Board” regularly, so always check before ordering. Many traditional Cypriot dishes are available but it will always depend on what has been freshly prepared.

What is perhaps most appealing about Miki’s is the welcome you will receive, the friendly and obliging service, and the fact that nothing at Miki’s is too much trouble.
